Child & Family Support
Parents and family caregivers at times are in need of support, information and assistance from other individuals who have been through similar experiences raising children and youth with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. It can be stressful and challenging on how to identify the services and supports needed for your child and family. Our peer support providers are available to support and assist you with the following services and activities:
Statewide helpline at 401-467-6855:
This statewide helpline is run by parents and family members who have direct experience and understand your needs first hand. We have knowledge and experience with early childhood, schools and special education, behavioral health centers, child welfare and the juvenile justice system. We are here to provide emotional support and help you navigate and access the services and supports you need. Parents can do a self referral and our services are free of charge to families. Agencies can make referrals with consent. Please see below for forms.

Peer Support Direct Service Assistance:
Parent partners are ready to provide face to face peer based service support by attending care planning and school based meetings with parents around their children's mental health and other child and family service needs. We work with parents who are overcoming their own struggles with their mental health or substance use challenges.
