Family Support for Substance Use

No one should have to navigate substance use challenges alone.

Whether you are a parent in recovery, supporting a loved one, involved with DCYF, working toward reunification, or simply looking for someone who understands, Parent Support Network of Rhode Island offers peer-led support rooted in lived experience, compassion, and hope.

Our team meets families where they are and helps them navigate challenges while building on their strengths.

You Don't Have to Figure It Out Alone

Substance use can affect the entire family.

Parents and caregivers often face challenges related to:

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • Family relationships and communication

  • Child welfare involvement

  • Mental health concerns

  • Recovery and wellness goals

  • Accessing community resources

  • Reunification and family strengthening

Our Family Support Partners understand these challenges because many have lived experience of recovery, parenting, and navigating complex systems.
